STUDENT PROGRAM GOALS

WHO THIS IS FOR

Built for TRiO directors who need outcomes, not just programming.

Grant renewal depends on student outcomes. The Wealthy Scholar Program is designed to produce the kind of measurable financial literacy results you can document, report, and be proud of.

TRiO & Upward Bound directors

You need programming that aligns with federal student success goals, produces documentable outcomes, and actually engages first-generation students.

Educational opportunity program coordinators

You're building the bridge between where your students are and where they need to be. Financial literacy is one of the most critical gaps in that bridge.

Financial aid and student success offices

You're seeing the downstream consequences of students who arrive financially unprepared. This program addresses it before they enroll.

THE PROBLEM

First-generation students face financial decisions no one in their family has navigated.

89%

of TRiO students are first-generation college students,  navigating student loans, credit, and financial independence without a family roadmap.

$37K

is the average student loan debt for first-generation graduates, often compounded by credit card debt accumulated without financial training.

Grant risk

TRiO program renewals depend on demonstrated student outcomes. Financial literacy programming with measurable results directly supports that case.

TWO PROGRAM OPTIONS

A single intensive or a full program, both built for TRiO students.

Choose based on your program calendar, budget cycle, and the depth of impact you want to deliver.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you ask.

Can this be documented for grant reporting?

Yes. Pre/post assessments are built into both formats. The 12-session program includes a full outcome report designed to support grant documentation and renewal applications.

Is this available virtually?

Yes. Both formats are available in-person or virtually via Zoom. Virtual delivery doesn't change the curriculum or the outcomes, only the logistics.

Is the content culturally relevant for our students?

Cultural relevance is the foundation of everything we do. The Wealthy Scholar Program is designed specifically for first-generation and underrepresented students. The scenarios, examples, and facilitation style reflect your students' actual lives.

How large can a cohort be?

Both formats are designed for cohort-based delivery. Contact us with your cohort size and we'll discuss the right setup. Pricing is per cohort, not per student.

When during the year does this work best?

The 2-hour intensive works well for any time of the year. The 12-session program runs across a semester or academic year with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. It's also perfect for summer!

Do students actually hit the three goals?

Students leave with the exact knowledge, tools, and step-by-step action plan to save $1,000, invest $1,000, and build a 700+ credit score on their own timeline after the program ends.
