WHO THIS IS FOR

Built for teens. Bought by parents who are tired of waiting for school to do it.

Most teens will leave home before anyone teaches them how money works. Our 10 sessions will fix that before they go.

Parents of teens ages 13–18

You've built the financial habits you wish you had earlier. Now you want your teen to start ahead, not spend their 20s catching up.

Teens with their first job or income

They're making money. They have no system for it. This program gives them one before the habits get too expensive to break.

Teens heading to college in 1–3 years

College is the first financial decision most teens make without their parents. This program makes sure it's not also the worst one.

THE PROBLEM

Schools teach what finances are. Not how to be financially free. (We do!)

57%

of Americans are financially illiterate. Most never received formal money education before adulthood.

$1,200

is the average credit card debt young adults carry within 2 years of turning 18. Most likely before they understand how interest works.

Only 26

states require personal finance education in high school. Most teens still graduate with zero formal money training.

THE CURRICULUM

10 sessions. One complete family wealth system.

Each session is 60 minutes, available live in-person or virtually. Teens leave every session with a specific action to complete before the next one.

01

Money Mindset & Goal Setting

Identify the beliefs about money holding your teen back and replace them with a goal-driven financial identity.

02

How Money Actually Works

Income, expenses, assets, liabilities - the foundation most adults were never taught and can't explain.

03

Budgeting Your First Paycheck

Build a real budget from real income, not a textbook example. Teens leave with a working spending plan.

04

Saving Your First $1,000

The exact system to hit $1,000 in savings, including where to keep it and how to avoid overspending.

05

Credit Scores & Credit Cards

How credit scores are built, what destroys them, and how to start building a 700+ score before leaving home.

06

Banking & Financial Technology

Checking, savings, high-yield accounts, fintech apps... what to use, what to avoid, and why it matters.

07

Investing Your First $500

Stocks, index funds, compound growth made simple enough for a teenager to act on, not just understand.

08

Entrepreneurship & Side Hustles

How to turn a skill or interest into income, including the basics of getting paid and keeping records.

09

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you ask.

Is this live or pre-recorded?

All sessions are live. In-person or virtually via Zoom. Recordings are provided after each session so you can review at your own pace.

Do parents attend too?

Parents are welcome to sit in. However, we do ask them to hold questions/comments until after the session.

Will my teen actually save $1,000 and invest $500?

The program gives them the exact knowledge, tools, and step-by-step action plan to hit those goals on their own timeline after the program ends. Results depend on consistent action after the class. We give them everything they need to succeed.

What age range is this for?

AU Classes for Teens is designed for ages 13–18. The content is calibrated for teens who may or may not have any prior money experience.

What if my teen misses a session?

Every session is recorded. If your teen misses a live session, they'll have full access to the recording to stay on track.

Is this in-person only or can we do it virtually?

Both options are available. Virtual sessions run on Zoom. In-person sessions are in the Cincinnati area. If you're outside Cincinnati, virtual is your path.
